Job Details

We're looking for a Senior Cost Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys connecting the numbers to the bigger picture. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate project accounting, maintain inventory integrity, support revenue recognition, and drive continuous improvement across financial processes.

What You'll DoLead project accounting activities, including revenue and cost recognitionMonitor and reconcile contract assets, liabilities, and customer backlogManage inventory accounting and cost of sales reportingSupport forecasting efforts through Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviewsAnalyze customer contracts and apply ASC 606 accounting guidanceCreate and maintain project structures and charge codes within the ERP systemPrepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsDevelop and document accounting procedures to support compliance and internal controlsInvestigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actionsChampion process improvements that increase efficiency and reporting accuracy

What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environmentStrong ERP experience and proficiency with ExcelBackground in project accounting, inventory accounting, or revenue recognitionExperience supporting operational teams with financial analysis and decision-makingExcellent analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detailStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
