Job Details
The Senior Data Center Design Integration Manager serves as the owner’s representative responsible for ensuring all design and engineering deliverables are fully coordinated, constructible, and aligned with program requirements.
This role sits at the center of design execution—managing architects, engineers, consultants, and the tenant design team to ensure that every issued-for-construction package is complete, coordinated, and aligned with schedule and field execution needs.
You will be the critical link between design intent and real-world constructability.
What You Will OwnEnd-to-end design coordination across architecture, structure, MEP, fire protection, controls, and specialty systemsIFC deliverable schedule alignment with construction and procurement milestonesCross-discipline coordination and resolution of design conflicts before they reach the fieldBasis of Design (BOD) compliance and consistency across all building packagesBIM coordination, clash detection, and model integrity validationDesign change control, scope tracking, and approval workflowsRFI governance between construction and design teamsConstructability reviews, value engineering, and peer design validationTenant design integration and alignment with base building systemsDesign deliverable reporting, dashboards, and executive status updatesAI-Enabled Design Execution

AI-powered BIM clash detection and spatial coordinationAutomated design review for specification compliance and completenessPredictive analytics for design schedule performance and risk detectionGenerative design tools to optimize layouts and system routingDigital twin integration connecting design models to field executionAI-supported tracking dashboards for design deliverables and milestonesWhat You Bring15+ years in design management, engineering coordination, or technical delivery8+ years in hyperscale data center or mission-critical facility programsStrong command of multi-discipline design coordination (MEP-heavy environments preferred)Deep experience managing external design consultants and engineering firmsExpertise in BIM workflows, clash detection, and model-based coordinationProven ability to manage IFC deliverable schedules across multiple concurrent projectsExperience enforcing Basis of Design (BOD) standards at scaleStrong communication and stakeholder alignment skills in matrix environmentsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (PE/RA preferred)
Preferred ExperienceHyperscale programs with AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Oracle, or leading developersDesign-build or integrated delivery environmentsTier III/IV data center standards (Uptime Institute)ASHRAE / NFPA mission-critical design frameworksEmerging systems: liquid cooling, high-density power, advanced automation platformsExperience in fast-scaling organizations building design standards from scratchWork EnvironmentFully onsite role in Amarillo, TXActive construction environment with site access requiredTravel to vendors, fabrication shops, and partner offices as neededFlexibility during key delivery milestones and coordination cyclesWhy This Role Matters
