Senior Data Science And ML Ops Engineer

IDR is seeking a Senior Data Science and ML Ops Engineer to join one of our top clients for a Remote opportunity. This role involves designing, deploying, and operationalizing machine learning solutions within a fast-paced, cloud-based data platform environment, primarily leveraging AWS technologies. The focus is on partnering with business and technology teams to develop scalable, reliable ML solutions that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.NO C2C

Position Overview for the Senior Data Science and ML Ops Engineer:

• Partner with business leaders and data teams to identify opportunities for data-driven ML solutions that improve decision-making and efficiency.
• Design, test, and deploy scalable machine learning models using proven algorithms and AWS services such as SageMaker, Glue, and S3.
• Own the full model lifecycle, from hypothesis formulation, experimentation, and validation through production deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
• Build and operate data lake architectures, ensuring data governance, quality, and security using AWS Lake Formation, Glue Catalog, and IAM.
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices for reliable, repeatable, and cost-effective platform management.

Requirements for the Senior Data Science and ML Ops Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in a professional data science role with extensive hands-on experience in ML pipelines.
• Proven ability to build end-to-end ML solutions, including data preprocessing, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud ecosystem, especially SageMaker, Glue, S3, CloudWatch, and related services.
• Experience with data governance, lake formation, and large-scale data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows, version control, and operational monitoring of ML models and data pipelines.
