Position Description
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a critical role at the intersection of product innovation, manufacturability, and real‑world application. You will lead complex mechanical and architectural designs from concept through production, collaborating closely with clients, project management, manufacturing, and sales teams to bring solutions to life. Your expertise will directly influence product performance, system reliability, and the evolution of Transwall's portfolio. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead complex design and redesign efforts for products and subsystems.
- Define and refine design specifications and standards.
- Review and approve drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
- Identify recurring product or field issues and drive solutions.
- Lead testing strategy for new products and major revisions.
- Develop comprehensive installation instructions.
- Mentor Design Engineer I and II team members.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong documentation and quality discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring ability.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- 7-12 years of engineering experience in a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering products to market
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringor a related field of study.
