This role will oversee laboratory leaders, quality, compliance, accreditation, staffing, and operational performance within a large healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities* Lead laboratory managers and multiple clinical laboratory teams.* Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, budgets, and performance.* Manage CAP/CLIA accreditation and regulatory compliance.* Oversee proficiency testing, quality assurance, and process improvement.* Maintain clinical laboratory testing competency and training standards.* Evaluate laboratory testing methodologies, processes, and technology.* Partner with labor management, healthcare teams, and public health agencies.* Lead regional and national laboratory initiatives and strategic projects.Required Qualifications* 8+ years of healthcare/laboratory leadership experience.* Experience leading managers or other leaders.* Clinical laboratory operations and bench work experience.* Strong CAP/CLIA accreditation experience.* Proficiency testing oversight experience.* Experience managing credentialed medical laboratory staff.* Experience with laboratory test methodology evaluation.* Large healthcare/enterprise experience.* Master's degree in Laboratory Science, Healthcare, Operations, Leadership, or related field.Preferred: Experience with a large healthcare system such as Emory Healthcare.Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
