Position Summary:

The Senior Director, North America FP&A is the senior leader responsible for financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic financial insight across the North America market. Reporting to the SVP, North America CFO, this role serves as the primary FP&A thought partner for regional leadership and ensures the CFO has clear, decision-ready insight to steer the business.

This leader owns the end-to-end FP&A agenda for North America-connecting strategy to execution, translating operational and commercial activity into financial outcomes, and driving disciplined, fact-based decision-making.

  • Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecast, and long-range planning processes for North America
  • Ensure alignment between regional plans, enterprise targets, and capital allocation priorities
  • Drive high-quality forecasting with transparent assumptions, risks, and opportunities
  • Own monthly and quarterly performance reviews, including variance analysis and corrective action tracking

Business Partnership & Decision Support

  • Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, and Functional leaders to link operational drivers to financial performance and drive cost optimization and growth initiatives with robust financial modeling
  • Lead scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling for major strategic and operational decisions
  • Elevate financial discussions from "what happened" to "what should we do next"

Insights, Analytics & Tools

  • Advance FP&A capabilities through improved analytics, dashboards, and KPI frameworks
  • Standardize reporting and planning methodologies across North America
  • Drive simplification, automation, and improved data quality in FP&A processes and tools
  • Partner with Global FP&A and Transformation teams to align on best practices

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A organization across North America
  • Set clear expectations for roles, decision rights, and capability requirements
  • Develop FP&A leaders as future finance and business executives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership in FP&A
  • Deep experience supporting a complex P&L and senior executive stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders
  • Experience operating in large, matrixed organizations

Preferred

  • Regional or multi-country FP&A leadership experience
  • Experience in transformation initiatives
