What will you be doing?
This hybrid role, located in Stamford CT, is a key opportunity to support panel data analytics for a high‑performing team. You will apply deep expertise in consumer panel data to guide client strategy, elevate team capabilities, and address complex business questions across the client's portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with panel datasets and ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
Job Responsibilities
Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrated ability to independently conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses which provide clients with fresh, actionable insights to inform strategy.
- Manage advanced custom consumer panel projects from initial discussion through analysis, interpretation, and delivery.
- Quickly recognize and clarify client needs; ask focused discovery and scoping questions to shape the right analytic approach.
- Envision mutually beneficial outcomes and proactively structure analysis plans and deliverables that address complex panel‑based business questions.
- Skillfully apply consumer panel data alongside other datasets to produce clear, fact‑based responses to client needs.
- Serve as a panel subject matter expert, guiding the team and ensuring analytical rigor across workstreams.
- Help less‑experienced analysts strengthen their deliverables and build panel expertise; contribute to the team's overall thought leadership.
- Identify opportunities to bring in Circana subject matter experts when specialized support is needed and partner effectively to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Consultative Selling: Apply knowledge of the client, marketplace dynamics, and Circana capabilities to identify, pursue, and close business opportunities.
- Target analytic opportunities that address expressed and unexpressed client needs, using questions that uncover root causes versus surface symptoms.
- Work with cross‑functional partners to shape solutions that align client needs with Circana capabilities, producing clear and compelling proposals.
- Coordinate with internal SMEs to ensure analytic projects are well‑designed and delivered successfully.
Impactful Presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional image.
- Build trust with clients and Circana teams as a credible domain expert in panel analytics and insights.
- Maintain strong curiosity about industry and category trends and how they impact clients' business decisions.
- Educate clients on analytic methods, help shape their thinking, and guide decision‑making with clarity and confidence.
- Adjust communication style to match the audience, present complex concepts with clarity, poise, and practical relevance.

- Apply expert‑level panel knowledge to diagnose business issues, synthesize insights, and recommend actions that have clear strategic implications across the client's categories.
Requirements
8+ years of hands‑on experience working directly with consumer panel data in CPG, research, or analytics roles.
Expert‑level knowledge of consumer panel methodologies, including weighting, projection, behavioral measures, longitudinal analysis, and application to category and brand questions.
Demonstrated experience with Circana/IRI panel solutions or equivalent syndicated panel datasets (e.g., NielsenIQ).
Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple data sources and produce clear, data‑driven findings with practical business implications.
Proven capability to lead advanced analytic workstreams independently and guide others on methodological best practices.
Experience coaching and developing less‑experienced analysts; ability to elevate team capability and quality of deliverables.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex panel concepts for varied stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
Successful track record partnering across functions and collaborating with subject matter experts to address client needs.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Location: Stamford, CT (hybrid, three days on-site). Candidates within commuting distance of Stamford, CT (e.g. NYC Metro Area) will be considered.
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
