The Senior Director, Legal Counsel, Customer – North America is a leader within the Customer Legal Team, reporting through the North America Legal organization.This rolepartnersclosely with business leaders and legal subjectmatter experts to address complex,high impactissues affecting the Company’s customer relationships,brandsand growth strategy.Thisrole requires a highly collaborative mindset,working in a networked legal model with colleagues acrossthe enterpriseto deliver cohesive,practical,andbusiness-orientedlegal solutions. The Senior Director advises on sophisticated commercial agreements and broader legal matters while helping shape how legal services are deliveredatscale.

WhatYou’llDo for Us

Strategic Customer & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex,highvaluecustomer agreements with FoodserviceOnPremise and Retail customers, aligning legal strategy with commercialobjectives.

  • Serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior business leaders, supporting growth initiatives while protecting the Company’sinterests.

  • Identify,assessand clearly communicate legal risks to business stakeholders, providing practical,solutionorientedguidance to mitigate exposure.

CrossFunctionalLegal Collaboration

  • Partner with legal subject matter experts(e.g., Antitrust, Marketing & IP, Privacy, Regulatory, Litigation, Compliance) to address multifaceted issues.

  • Coordinate legal input onenterpriselevelinitiatives to ensure advice is consistent, integrated and aligned with Company policies and risk tolerance.

  • Foster strong working relationships acrosstheGlobal Legal Functionto enable knowledge sharing and efficient issue resolution.

Legal Process Improvement & Ways of Working

  • Collaborate withlegal and businesscolleagues toimprove how legal services are delivered, including streamlining customer contracting processesto improveconsistency and efficiency.

  • Help shape standards,playbooksand best practicestoenable scalable legal support whilemaintainingappropriate controls.

Leadership, Influence & Enablement

  • Provide guidance,mentoring,and oversight to other legal professionals.

  • Deliver training andeducationto business teams on key legal topics, emergingrisksand best practices to support informed decisionmaking.

  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration,inclusion,and continuous improvement across the Legal Function.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Accredited U.S. law degree (or equivalent). 

  • Qualified to practice law in Georgia or anotherappropriate U.S.jurisdiction

  • Minimum8+ years of legal experience, preferably focused on complex commercial transactions. 

  • Experience at atop tierlawfirm and/or a large, sophisticatedin-houselegal department. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through collaboration, manage complex,cross functionalmatters, and influence senior stakeholders. 

  • Strong judgment, communicationskills,and ability to translate legal complexity into practical business advice. 

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally asneeded (approximately 10–15%).
