The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $175,000.00 to $250,000.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of engineering leaders and principal engineers, encouraging a culture of inclusion and collaboration to deliver on goals.
- Drive the engineering team to deliver project scope by conducting site audits, designing, validating, ordering and then commissioning and testing
- Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality.
- Act as a primary point of escalation for project-related issues, ensuring swift resolution.
- Identify new business opportunities and direct sustaining engineering projects.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and business plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges, recommending procedural changes as needed.
- Provide leadership on strategic business planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree in Engineering
- 10 years successful experience in leading Project Management or Project Engineering teams
- Demonstrates advance understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management.
- Proven experience in managing large teams and project execution including design, validation, commissioning and testing, systems integration, risk management, and team leadership.
- Advanced understanding of mechanical and controls systems as well as intermediate level understanding of software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, of varying size, at the same time.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and work weekends and holidays.
