Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a "Senior Director, Long-Range Research Initiative & Applied Science Strategies" for a position in "Washington, DC"Details:Specialty: Scientific Research Leadership / Regulatory Science / Applied Science StrategyLocation: Washington, DC (Hybrid)Facility Type: National Scientific & Industry AssociationPay Rate: Competitive (DOE)Shift/Hours: Full-Time Hybrid Model - Monday and Friday are remote and Tuesday to Thursday are in office.Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Science or a related technical field.*
- Minimum of 10 years of chemical industry, scientific research, or related government experience.*
- Strong background in interpreting complex scientific data and applying findings to chemical safety and policy initiatives.*
- Experience collaborating with international research organizations, government agencies, academia, and industry stakeholders.*
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-range scientific research strategies.*
- Experience managing scientific research programs, budgets, contracts, and external consultants.*
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.*
- Ability to present scientific findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.*
- Experience supporting regulatory or policy decision-making through scientific research is highly preferred.*
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
