Bellwood is seeking a Senior Director, Data Analysis & AI Innovation to lead strategic data and artificial intelligence initiatives for a key client engagement. This role will shape how data insights and AI-driven capabilities are leveraged to improve decision-making, operational performance, and overall business outcomes.

The Senior Director will partner closely with business and technology leaders to identify high-impact opportunities, guide innovation efforts, and ensure solutions are scalable, measurable, and responsibly implemented. This leader will also drive organizational enablement by strengthening data literacy, advancing AI adoption, and establishing best practices for analytics and intelligent systems.

What you'll do:

• Define and lead the strategy for enterprise data analysis and AI innovation
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and scale high-value initiatives
• Translate complex data and AI concepts into clear business impact
• Drive adoption of advanced analytics and AI-enabled decision frameworks
• Establish governance, standards, and best practices across analytics and AI solutions
• Mentor and develop managers, analysts, and senior contributors
• Oversee a portfolio of data and AI initiatives to ensure measurable value delivery
• Define KPIs to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency gains, and business outcomes
• Champion responsible, ethical, and sustainable use of AI and data technologies
• Support financial planning, investment prioritization, and budget oversight

Who you are:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in Data, Analytics, or AI-focused environments
• 5+ years leading high-performing, cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale analytics or AI initiatives
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect insights to strategic outcomes
• Deep expertise in data analysis, performance measurement, and AI-driven solutions
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• A continuous learner with a passion for innovation and improvement

Travel Requirements:

This position requires mandatory travel to attend two key company-wide events annually. These events are essential for our organizational goals and provide valuable opportunities for team engagement and collaboration. The company will arrange and cover all travel and accommodation expenses. Additional travel related to the role may also be required to travel.

This role is based in Atlanta and requires frequent meetings with clients at their offices and in public places plus on-site quarterly planning 4x per year.
