Office: College AdvancementReports to: Vice President for College AdvancementWork Period: 12 MonthHours: Full TimeOvertime: ExemptJob Grade: 11General Summary: Responsible for the acquisition and renewal of corporate and foundation (CFR) support for the college. Serves as a primary contact for cultivation and solicitation activities relating to corporations and foundations as part of the college's overall development program within the guidelines of federal, state and local laws and college, office, and division policies and procedures. Reports to the Vice President for College Advancement and works with advancement colleagues, faculty, staff, students, alumnae, donors, local and state business and civic leaders, foundation and corporation representatives and related contacts, volunteers, and other relevant constituents.Essential Job Functions: Develops, implements, and manages the College's corporate and foundation relations (CFR) program, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation prospects and donors.In partnership with the Vice President for College Advancement, develops and executes the annual CFR operating plan, fundraising strategy, assessment plan, impact report, and fundraising goals.Manages a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects, securing institutional support through grants, sponsorships, partnerships, matching gifts, and other charitable initiatives.Prepare high-quality grant proposals, reports, stewardship materials, correspondence, and other fundraising communications in collaboration with campus partners.Meets or exceeds established fundraising and activity goals while maintaining accurate records and providing timely progress reports.Ensures timely stewardship, recognition, reporting, and communication regarding the use and impact of corporate and foundation gifts and grants.Serves as the primary liaison for all corporate and foundation cultivation, solicitation, and engagement activities as part of the College's overall development program.Partners with faculty, academic departments, advisory boards, and College leadership to identify funding priorities, develop competitive proposals, and coordinate institutional grant activity.Collaborates with Advancement Services, Donor Relations, and Research & Prospect Management to strengthen donor engagement, prospect strategy, matching gift efforts, and fundraising processes.Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders to identify new funding opportunities and improve corporate and foundation relations processes.Coordinates faculty- and staff-initiated grant proposals with Cabinet members and other College leaders to ensure alignment with institutional priorities.Non-Essential Job FunctionsSupports Advancement, Development, and College events as requested. Participates in professional development opportunities and remain current on fundraising, philanthropy, and advancement best practices.REQUIREMENTSEducation: BA/BS degree in related field of study.Experience: Minimum of five to seven years work experience with substantive experience in corporate and foundation relations, fundraising, and/or alumni and volunteer relations management. Experience in the field of higher education development or related field preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Proven track record of grant-writing, soliciting, and closing corporate and foundation grants, gifts, and sponsorships in the $25K - $1M+Evident ability to work effectively with a team and with many diverse constituencies in a college

Highly organized, self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written; demonstrated ability to work independently and to maintain

Knowledge of and familiarity with corporate and foundation entities in the Metro Atlanta region

Familiarity with identifying, cultivating, and soliciting corporations and foundations for college

Familiarity with annual, major, and capital giving programs as well as comprehensive campaign knowledge

Good working knowledge of Google based productivity applications as well as MS Office and fundraising database

Ability to consistently conduct local and regional travel associated with the execution of the duties described above on a regular basis.Strategic thinking and planning
