Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Director of US Market Access, Reimbursement, and Payer Strategy. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing market access strategies, engaging with payers, and leading initiatives to secure reimbursement for emerging prenatal diagnostic technologies. Key responsibilities include fostering payer relationships, conducting pricing and reimbursement assessments, and ensuring alignment between clinical and commercial strategies. This role is based in the United States, with flexibility to work remotely part of the time.
Qualifications
- Expertise in market access, reimbursement strategies, and payer negotiations within the healthcare or biotechnology industries.
- Proficiency in pricing analysis, health economics, outcomes research, and value proposition development.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and managing teams.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills with US-based commercial payers, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze healthcare policy and regulatory issues and their impact on market access strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Health Economics, Business, Life Sciences, or related area preferred.
- Experience working in the diagnostics, biotechnology, or life sciences industry is highly beneficial.
