Job Description
Job Summary:
- Lead technical design for projects from early concept to completion.
- Define project scopes and develop options for I&E systems.
- Ensure all I&E designs follow specifications, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with refining, petrochemical, or equivalent manufacturing industry I&E systems.
- Strong expertise in I&E design and power system analysis.
- Proficiency in SKM and ETAP modeling software.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, IEEE, API, and related standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Apply knowledge of NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, API, and NEMA standards in all projects.
- Review and approve construction documents to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Participate in Management of Change reviews for projects.
- Join constructability, P&ID, and project review meetings.
- Specify and support the purchase of I&E materials for projects.
- Use refinery power system models (SKM/ETAP) for studies and provide updates.
- Develop preventative maintenance plans for new equipment.
- Support construction and commissioning with technical and safety expertise.
- Recommend improvements to corporate I&E specifications based on industry experience.
- Serve as custodian for instrument specifications.
