Job Description
This established manufacturer, renowned for their contribution to the electric power line sector, seeks a seasoned engineer to spearhead the innovation and enhancement of transformer products. Key responsibilities include spearheading the development of new parts and assemblies; creating detailed designs, drawings, and technical specifications. You'll ensure these products meet rigorous technical standards and functional requirements. Assess and update product changes, conduct extensive feasibility and quality testing, and oversee prototype creation and testing phases. Drive the drafting, review, and approval of engineering changes, recommending efficient, reliable, and cost-effective approaches. Prepare and disseminate test reports both internally and for public dissemination. Operate with autonomy, tackling moderately complex projects and supporting broader engineering objectives, ensuring adherence to timelines. Provide technical support to the field sales team.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - 5-10 years of professional experience in engineering - Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks or ProE - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Preferred background in electric utility product lines and manufacturing processes
