Job Description

Senior Electrical Engineer | Charlotte, NC

Tired of designing the same thing every day?

If your current role feels like Revit. CAD. Repeat., it might be time for something different.

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who wants more than simply producing drawings. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, collaborate with talented people, and build a career—not just fill a position.

Why Engineers Love This Opportunity

You'll work on more than one project type.

If you've been stuck doing the same type of project over and over, you'll appreciate the variety here.

Projects include:

  • Mission Critical & Data Centers
  • Healthcare
  • Life Sciences & Laboratories
  • Commercial
  • Higher Education
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Science & Technology Facilities

Every project brings a new challenge.

You'll actually have a voice.

You'll work directly with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on projects where your technical expertise matters—not just your production hours.

Leadership that invests in people.

The managers here genuinely enjoy mentoring engineers and helping them grow. Whether your goal is technical leadership, project management, client development, or becoming an Associate, there are multiple paths forward.

A culture people actually enjoy.

No forced fun. No corporate buzzwords.

Just a collaborative team, supportive leadership, an energetic Uptown Charlotte office, and people who enjoy working together.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design electrical systems for a wide variety of complex buildings.
  • Collaborate with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Participate in projects from concept through construction.
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers.
  • Solve challenging technical problems.
  • Help shape projects—not simply draft them.
  • Build your career in the direction you want.

What You'll Receive

  • Hybrid schedule
  • Monday–Thursday in the office
  • Remote half-day every Friday
  • Competitive compensation
  • 5% 401(k) match
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • 3–4 weeks PTO plus 9 paid holidays
  • Beautiful Uptown Charlotte office
  • Professional development and continuing education
  • Leadership that genuinely invests in your growth
  • Clear path toward Project Manager, Technical Lead, Department Manager, or Associate-level leadership

Who We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of MEP consulting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience designing commercial building electrical systems
  • Revit experience preferred
  • PE or EIT is a plus
  • Someone looking for more technical variety, greater responsibility, and long-term career growth

Why Make the Move?

Good electrical engineers have plenty of options.

This one simply offers more:

  • More interesting projects
  • More technical variety
  • More career growth
  • Better work-life balance
  • Hybrid flexibility with remote half-day Fridays
  • Leadership that genuinely enjoys developing engineers
