Senior Electrical Designer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our team in Bothell, WA.

Your role

• Work closely with Electrical Lead to prepare designs for the assigned projects.
• Participate in design projects from concept to completion.
• Assist senior engineers in their tasks.
• Select electrical equipment, single line diagrams, cable trays and raceways (above ground and underground), grounding system, lighting and lightning protection systems, cable sizing, equipment arrangements and layouts.
• Coordinate electrical requirements with other disciplines involved on the projects.
• Coordinate drawing packages for issue.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About you

• Minimum 5 Years' experience in Electrical design, power generation, public utilities power distribution systems and similar industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD design and drafting, as well as Microsoft office.
• Good communication skills.
• Time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience and knowledge of Revit/SmartPlant is an asset.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Familiarity with Blue Beam.
• Ability to meet deadlines in high pressure environments.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $34.00 - $60.00 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
