This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an established and well-respected organization offering strong career growth.Job Title: Senior Electrical EngineerLocation:Onsite – Trenton, SC 29847, USOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support continuous improvement and automation initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This onsite role focuses on PLC programming, electrical control systems, and equipment optimization while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.Key Responsibilities

Modify and improve existing equipment for automation and continuous improvement
Design, develop, and support electrical control systems
Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo drives
Support production and maintenance teams with equipment issues
Manage contractors and maintenance technicians for project execution
Work with vendors and equipment designers on technical requirements
Manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives
Ensure equipment safety and compliance with NFPA 70E standards

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing
Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell software
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of industrial Ethernet and machine networks
Understanding of equipment safety, risk assessments, and arc flash requirements
Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
Experience managing contractors and cross-functional teams
Strong communication and negotiation skills
