Work on some of the largest transportation projects in the NortheastPosition SummaryThe Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) will support electrical engineering design, quality control, and project execution for multi-million-dollar transportation and infrastructure projects. This role includes full project lifecycle involvement - from concept design through construction support - and offers strong growth and leadership opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform traction power & electrical system design
Prepare electrical scopes of work & cost proposals
Develop drawings, schematics, layouts & specifications
Perform system calculations, modeling & analysis
Select electrical equipment & coordinate with manufacturers
Prepare construction cost estimates & schedules
Support construction including review of submittals & RFIs Attend site visits during design & construction phase
Participate in factory & site acceptance testing (FAT / SAT)Coordinate with utility companies & regulatory agencies
Mentor and guide junior engineers
Present technical solutions to clients & leadership
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) License – Required10+ years of electrical design experience
Strong experience in:Power distribution systems
Substations & switchgear
Traction power systems
Grounding, lighting & low-voltage systems
Expert knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE & UL codes
Software experience:AutoCADRevitOpenBuildingDesignerOpenRoadDesignerCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $140,000 – $200,000 annually
