Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Electrical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical and design services across a broad range of electrical engineering projects. You will play a pivotal role in producing construction drawings and specifications for diverse client projects, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design process for both large-scale and smaller projects.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate efforts of the design team.
• Engage directly with architects and clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Conduct initial project evaluations and prepare detailed reports and documentation.
• Produce comprehensive design documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project criteria through rigorous design reviews.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 10 plus years of experience in Electrical Design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies

• BS in Electrical Engineering with PE Registration

• Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Applicable NFPA Codes and Energy Codes

• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code

• Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare or Aviation preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

• Must know REVIT and AutoCAD

• Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments.

• Must be able to work as part of a team and balance multiple projects.

• Must be a US Citizen
