Job Description

Selectek is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with commercial structural design experience to join our growing design team in Fenton, MO. The client is expanding and looking for someone ready to take on leadership responsibility - managing portions of a project, mentoring junior team members, and interfacing directly with clients.Job Responsibilities:

Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and building systems for commercial structures*
Collaborate closely with structural and architectural teams to deliver integrated design solutions*
Oversee and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources*
Produce and review drawings and documentation using AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred)*
Serve as the client-facing point of contact from design through project completion*
Mentor and lead engineering team members on assigned projects

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field*
5+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildings*
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience a plus*
Knowledge of NEC codes and commercial design standards*
Excellent communication, organization, and client interaction skills*
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a lead role*
Background in commercial structural projectsfamiliar with how electrical integrates into building frameworks*
Capable of managing design teams or leading segments of large projects*
Strong communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients and architects*
Motivated to grow into a leadership or project management role
