Job Description
We are in need of a Senior Electrical Engineer in Atlanta, GA.Required:
- 6-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.*
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, architectural/electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology from an ABET accredited institution.*
- Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia or ability to obtain through reciprocity within three months of start date.*
- Experience in building system design including power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding and lightning protection, and emergency and uninterruptible power systems.*
- Familiarity with system modeling software (i.e., ETAP, SKM, AGI) and knowledge of sustainable design practices.*
- Eligibility to work in the United States and to obtain a security clearance.
- Prior consulting experience*
- Federal government design experience*
- LEED accreditation is a plus*
- LC certification is a plus*
- Functional knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is a plus
- Utilize experience and technical skills to solve complex problems, ensuring compliance with industry and client standards, codes, and regulations.*
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, all engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractors.*
- Lead project teams, delivering comprehensive engineering design packages to diverse clients such as federal, state, and local agencies; commercial and industrial entities; and universities.*
- Provide engineering oversight and direction to junior engineers and designers, including leadership and training.*
- Support construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality and accuracy of work and effectively communicating with project manager, design and construction teams, and clients.*
- Work with the electrical team across offices to enhance internal standards, conduct load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations for optimal system configurations.
