Senior Electrical Estimator

Structure Resources is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join one of our premier Electrical Design-Build contractors. This is a direct-hire opportunity with an award-winning electrical contractor specializing in large-scale commercial, industrial, water treatment, and design-build electrical projects across the United States.

This position can be based in Indianapolis, IN, Denver, CO, or Charlotte, NC, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

They are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator with experience preparing competitive bids for large commercial, industrial, and design-build electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating, project takeoffs, bid strategy, and collaborating with project management and business development teams throughout the preconstruction process.

This position is responsible for developing accurate estimates, preparing proposals and change orders, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating vendor pricing, leading bid efforts, and supporting the successful transition of awarded projects into operations.

The ideal candidate will also have experience leading complex bids, mentoring junior estimators, reviewing electrical drawings and specifications, and utilizing estimating software to deliver accurate, competitive proposals while maintaining company quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of electrical estimating experience
• Experience estimating commercial, industrial, or water treatment projects preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field or Journeyman Electrician License
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical theory
• Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and electrical one-line diagrams
• Experience with design-build estimating, electrical equipment layouts, feeder sizing, and branch circuit analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience leading bid efforts and mentoring junior estimators preferred
• Ability to travel on a limited basis as needed
