Job Description

DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic new position opportunity.  Seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join a dynamic team as a Senior Project Manager in the Charlotte, NC. area. You will be responsible for overseeing commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the company’s quality standard.Salary: $100K - $125KBase hours: M - F, 7am - 3:30pm Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, PTO, Holidays, Retirement plan, BonusesCompany Truck, weekly paid!Role & Responsibilities: 
  • Manages commercial and industrial electrical projects, overseeing all phases from planning through completion

  • Leads project teams, including electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors, while managing multiple concurrent jobs to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals

  • Demonstrates strong financial and operational acumen by developing project budgets, tracking costs, managing change orders, and ensuring profitability on projects exceeding $1M in value

  • Utilizes project management tools, scheduling software, and reporting systems to track progress, document milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership

  • Interprets electrical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to plan installations, coordinate field activities, and resolve design or scope issues

  • Provides hands-on electrical field support when needed, including troubleshooting, inspections, and technical guidance to crews

  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to resolve project challenges, coordinate with clients and contractors, and maintain team productivity

  • Maintains a proactive, accountable, and mentoring leadership style to develop team members, enforce standards, and drive continuous improvement

  • Ability to travel to job sites

Experience:
  • 6–12+ years of hands-on field and project management
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical construction practices, NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance and high-quality workmanship.
  • Hold a licensed electrician credential or equivalent field and project management experience
  • Valid driver’s license ability to travel to job sites
