- Lead and develop engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and strong team culture.
- Set technical direction and execution priorities in collaboration with product and cross-functional partners.
- Ensure engineering decisions align with business goals and deliver scalable, maintainable systems.
- Play an active role in hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
- Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for key stakeholders, facilitating alignment across functions and regions.
- Champion effective engineering practices that balance quality, speed, and long-term sustainability.
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership responsibility, including managing engineering managers or multiple teams.
- Technical depth: Strong background with distributed systems and software architecture; familiarity with modern languages and event-driven systems.
- Cross-functional impact: Demonstrated success working with product, design, data, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Execution excellence: Proven ability to drive complex technical initiatives from inception through delivery in a structured and measurable way.
- Communication: Clear, structured communicator capable of aligning diverse stakeholders across teams and geographies.
- Build and inspire teams that deliver ambitious results.
- Prioritize hiring and developing top talent.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
