Job Description

Amentum is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to perform Test and Evaluation, and configuration management of C5ISR systems.

Senior Engineering Technician Responsibilities Include:

Developing detailed EMC test plans
Participating in EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews
Perform EMC testing, gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data
Prepare and publish detailed EMC test reports
Review technical documentation and technical meeting support.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum twelve (12) years of demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to engineering related to TE&I configuration management of C5ISR systems.
Minimum seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: E3; EMI; EMC; E3 Computation and Modeling; EMC Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility; EMC Acquisition Electromagnetic Compatibility; EMI problem investigation, characterization, and quantification; E3 instructions, standards, policies and procedures; EMC document review; EMC and RADHAZ certification; EMC SHIPMAIN technical assessments; EMC acquisition engineering and EMI analysis; EMI planned maintenance systems; EMC certification; USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP); EMI fix engineering; technical program support; CASREP EMI investigations; and EMI characterization and quantification; RF engineering, logistics documentation and scheduling support; EMI planned maintenance systems; and Radar Absorbent Material (RAM) EMI mitigation for removal, installation and fabrication.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
