Hybrid role - 3 days Onsite and 2 days Remote

Job Description:

• In support of the Company's mission, this position will be responsible for the transformation of financial systems. 
• This position will be the Accounting lead supporting business transformation processes for Oracle Implementation and system automation/improvement projects
• This position is an excellent opportunity to manage, plan, and facilitate discussions with cross functional business teams and IT leads for the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation tracks.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for running the project from beginning to end, focusing on end-to-end processes with financial impact. 
• This person must be able to work comfortably in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Proactively manage project scope to and provide clear communication to ensure tracks move forward
• Keep proper project information and documentation comprehensively and being current
• Organize project meetings with key stakeholders and provide status reports to project sponsors
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and peers in the business
• Work with the team to define testing, training, cut-over and fail-over plans
• Identify, analyze, track and prioritize project risk plus assist to develop contingency plans to mitigate any risk
• Identify opportunities for change management and acts a change agent
• Contribute to the continuous improvement project management practices
• Assist in reviewing and assessing existing accounting operational processes and provide recommendations to improve existing process
• Co-ordinate with various finance and business teams in multiple regions and engage in process harmonization projects to align operational accounting processes
• Support post implementation activities such as training, problem resolution and reviews
• Collaborate with SOX team to ensure project processes are in compliance and assist to develop new controls

Qualification and Skills:

• Demonstrate successful track record in financial accounting software of ERP implementation.
• Strong financial systems expertise. Familiarity with SAP and Oracle is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with various levels of personnel across the organization is a must
• A minimum of 10 years of financial and accounting operations experience in related industry
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or related degree
• Prior experience in handling end to end business process and workflow related to various aspects of the financial statement close process, which includes procure to pay, order to cash, fixed assets, and general ledger functions, with experience in process improvements
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in times of high stress and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and foster inter functional relationships.
• Strong listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPivot.
• Good understanding and application of GAAP and SEC/financial reporting requirements
• Self-motivated and self-directed, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
• Proactive and independent person who identifies issues and drives them to resolution
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
