Job Description

Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator will lead the preconstruction and bidding process for commercial concrete projects. This role requires deep expertise in concrete scopes, including foundations, slabs, tilt-up, and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial concrete scopes
Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, and labor
Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
Develop competitive bid proposals and budgets
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
Maintain cost databases and historical pricing

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in concrete estimating
Strong understanding of structural concrete, rebar, and formwork systems
Experience estimating large commercial concrete projects
Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
Strong analytical and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
