Client Details A highly respected healthcare‑focused general contractor with deep roots in Texas is seeking a Senior Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to join their team and prepare to step into a future leadership role within the preconstruction department. DescriptionMeeting with clients and design teams, and developing strategies to attract new clients
Maintain and nurture relationships with Trade Partners, staying informed on current pricing, labor demands, and material lead times
Conduct budget presentations with clients, design teams, and internal project teams
Participate in pre-bid efforts in collaboration with Trade Partners, ensuring a smooth bidding process
Take-off and pricing tasks
Coordinate subcontractor bids and budgeting processes
Assist in estimating and tab sheet preparation
Apply cost knowledge to develop Conceptual and Schematic Level Budgets with provided information
Help manage client and design team expectations regarding costs, schedules, logistics, and quality
Coordinate closely with Field Operations Teams Profile8-10+ years of estimating/preconstruction management experience
Experience with specialized healthcare renovations, medical office buildings, ground up healthcare, higher education, religious projects, and/or other commercial work
Understanding of LEAN Construction concepts is a plus
Able to read drawings and specifications
Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
