Job Description

Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates. Review plans, specifications, and bid documents. Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing. Analyze bid packages and identify project risks. Prepare conceptual and hard-bid estimates. Assist with value engineering efforts. Participate in bid reviews and presentations. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and public agencies.

The Successful Applicant

8+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor. Experience bidding public-sector projects. Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and public bid procedures. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Experience using estimating software preferred.
