Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team in the Oakland area with pay starting at 140K. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate project costing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully estimating large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards
Present estimates and budgets to senior management and clients
Track and analyze project costs throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
Effective communication and negotiation skills
