Job Description
Frier Levitt, a national boutique law firm focused exclusively on Healthcare and Life Sciences, is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, this highly visible role will lead the planning and execution of the firm's client-facing events while supporting broader marketing and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong event management expertise with business development awareness. This individual must be organized, detail-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced professional services environment. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with regular interaction with firm leadership and practice group chairs.
This position offers a hybrid remote schedule with regular in-office collaboration in Pine Brook, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Sponsorships:
Event Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage the firm's annual event calendar in alignment with marketing and business development priorities.
- Plan and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events from inception through post-event follow-up, including seminars, webinars, conferences, and client programs.
- Oversee all event logistics, including registration systems, invitation design and distribution, RSVP tracking, materials, and vendor coordination.
- Manage administrative components related to events, including booth shipping, materials inventory, and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations.
- Draft and submit speaker proposals to conference organizers.
- Update and format PowerPoint presentations for attorneys and ensure brand consistency across all event materials.
- Maintain detailed timelines, planning calendars, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution.
- Interface regularly with firm leadership and practice group chairs to align event strategy with firm objectives.
- Evaluate event and sponsorship return on investment and recommend future participation.
Business Development & CRM Management
- Build and segment invitation lists and manage event data within HubSpot.
- Track attendance, engagement, and post-event metrics.
- Maintain accurate records to generate post-event reports, including ROI.
- Coordinate post-event outreach with attorneys to ensure timely follow-up communications.
Budget & Vendor Oversight
- Develop and manage event budgets; monitor expenses and ensure alignment with firm policies and objectives.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and support contract negotiation and fulfillment of sponsorship commitments.
- Process payment requests, reconcile expenses, and support post-event financial reporting.
Marketing & Content Support
- Draft and update event invitations, website copy, landing pages, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Support proposals, RFP responses, and pitch materials.
- Ensure practice group marketing materials, including attorney bios and website content, remain current and accurate.
- Manage website content updates for practice areas and capability sheets.
- Support practice group meetings and additional marketing initiatives as needed.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Experience and Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and event planning, or business development required in a professional services firm. Law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing complex in-person and virtual events.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage competing deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently and with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility with overtime.

Posted salary range is given in good faith. Actual salary will be based on experience and other factors.
