The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in family law. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing comprehensive paralegal support to our family law practice. You will work closely with our team of attorneys, providing key insights, drafting legal documents, and assisting in all aspects of case management from start to finish. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our family law attorneys, including drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and cite checking to ensure accuracy in all legal documents and correspondence.
• Manage and organize files from the initial consultation through trial, appeal, or case closure.
• Coordinate and assist in all aspects of case management, including discovery, legal research, and trial preparation.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in the preparation and organization of client materials.
• Assist with mediation and custody matters, ensuring all documents are prepared and filed accurately and timely.
• Conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with the client, so long as the client is also kept informed by the attorney.
• Utilize eFile system for the submission of legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and meetings.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal.
• Proficient in using legal database software and platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in custody, mediation, eFile, cite checking, labor and employment, family law, legal writing, and legal documents.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong research and report-generating skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Paralegal certification from an accredited program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
