Job Description

Location: Hybrid- Role is based out of our Irving/Las Colinas office location requiring 2-3 days a week in office and travel as needed.

Position Overview:

The Senior Finance Manager will serve as a strategic finance partner across all departments, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, Customer Success, and Professional Services. This role is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong SaaS finance experience, deep analytical skills, and the ability to influence business strategy through data-driven insights. This role is designed as an opportunity for a high-potential individual to build, grow, and establish a strong track record of impact over time.

This position reports to the CFO and collaborates closely with departmental leaders across the organization, primarily VP of Professional Services, Sales Operations Director and Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes for company-wide revenue, costs, and margins.
  • Develop driver-based financial models for recurring revenue, customer retention, headcount, and departmental budgets.
  • Partner with leaders to manage operating plans, headcount, and expense forecasts.

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, providing financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support contract structuring, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Review key initiatives (e.g., new product launches, marketing programs, services engagements) for financial viability and ROI.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for executive and departmental stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance against budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze company-wide profitability by multiple dimensions.

Accounting & Revenue Recognition

  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS and services contracts.
  • Support reconciliations of deferred revenue, project margins, and key balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in audit preparation and internal control compliance.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leads to align headcount planning with business priorities.
  • Lead or participate in system and process automation initiatives to improve financial efficiency.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and audit standards.
  • Support internal controls and financial governance processes.
  • Contribute to financial risk management and compliance efforts across global operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or strong accounting background preferred).
  • 9+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, Churn, Gross Margin) and financial modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription and professional services contracts.
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions with forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Datarails, Salesforce, Certinia, and ERP/FP&A tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build scalable financial models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
