Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced, motivated Senior Finance Manager who will be a key player in, and is truly excited about, driving and effectively scaling client's growth. This role will report into the Finance Director - G&A and International FP&A, and is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to be part of a dynamic FP&A organization that is operating at an accelerated pace and scaling for the future.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail without losing the big picture, and the ability to work both cross functionally and independently. This person is comfortable operating at all levels. They are highly organized, and are truly excited about financial analysis and insights.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the key FP&A partner to the Chief People Officer and EVP of Corporate Development
- Manage the People and Places financial analyst
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes for People & Places and Corporate Development functions, including:
- Partnering with business on strategic initiatives
- Optimizing spend portfolios, maintaining 1% forecast accuracy
- Owning insightful analysis on headcount, spend, and other key drivers and metrics based on operational performance
- Evolving these processes as needed
- Participate in the company's long-range strategic planning as applicable
- Manage frequent ad hoc / strategic projects to support senior management and business decisions
- Opportunity to increase scope with business needs
- Lead process and systems improvement and scaling projects for your area and broader FP&A, and partner on cross-functional teams, to drive the company's continued growth and scaling
Required Skills and Experience:
- Able and willing to come into the San Francisco office as needed, once a week or more
- 7-10 years of experience in FP&A
- Strong business acumen and expertise partnering with Senior Leadership
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Advanced Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/GSlides skills
- Anaplan and Tableau experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
- Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forth new ways of thinking
- Experience in a global high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus
