  • Analyze variances across procurement spend, transportation, warehousing, and inventory, identifying key drivers and risks.
  • Track core supply chain performance metrics tied to cost and working capital efficiency.

Cost Analysis & Optimization

  • Develop and refine unit economics across the supply chain, including landed cost, fulfillment cost, and cost-to-serve.
  • Identify cost efficiency opportunities across sourcing, freight, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Partner with procurement and operations teams to understand cost drivers and operational performance trends.
  • Support pricing, margin improvement, and cost reduction initiatives through data-driven analysis.

Investment & Business Case Support

  • Build financial models and business cases for supply chain investments, including network expansion, automation, and supplier strategies.
  • Evaluate trade-offs across make-vs.-buy decisions, supplier selection, and distribution network design.
  • Assess performance against investment assumptions and highlight key variances and risks.

Vendor Financial Management

  • Lead financial evaluation of supplier contracts, including pricing structures, volume commitments, rebates, and service level agreements.
  • Support vendor negotiations through cost modeling, scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Monitor vendor performance against financial and operational terms to identify risk areas.
  • Manage spend tracking, variance analysis, and cost recovery opportunities across supplier relationships.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Governance

  • Partner with procurement, operations, logistics, and commercial teams to support financial decision-making.
  • Translate operational and supply chain data into clear, actionable financial insights.
  • Produce regular reporting on supply chain costs, performance, and service levels.
  • Establish and maintain cost tracking, inventory controls, and governance processes to improve data accuracy and transparency.

  • Deep understanding of supply chain cost drivers such as procurement, freight, warehousing, inventory, and working capital.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across Operations, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and raising the quality and rigor of team output.
  • Strong ability to synthesize large, ambiguous datasets into clear insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, with experience using SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
