About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who thrives at the intersection of high-velocity execution and complex systems design. In this role, you will help scale an AI-driven platform that transforms manual, document-heavy workflows in the logistics industry into efficient, high-performance digital experiences.

You will play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, building data-intensive interfaces, and collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership. This is a high-impact technical leadership role where you will contribute not only by delivering features, but also by defining architectural standards that help the team move faster as the product grows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the migration of frontend architecture to support real-time, data-heavy dashboards using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS

• Build human-in-the-loop AI interfaces that make automated workflows transparent and easy for operations teams to manage

• Own the full product lifecycle, from technical discovery and scoping to production monitoring

• Define technical vision, mentor engineers, and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture

• Handle complex edge cases related to global trade and document-based workflows

• Collaborate directly with leadership on product direction and technical roadmap

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React

• Solid Python experience for backend services

• Advanced PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization

• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive projects end-to-end

• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate (in-person role)

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating AI APIs or building document processing workflows

• Familiarity with logistics, customs, or supply chain software

• Background at a high-growth startup (Series A/B)

• Experience with enterprise software requirements such as security, data retention, and compliance

• Experience with real-time systems and high-uptime production environments

• Open source contributions, GitHub activity, or side projects

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $170,000 – $220,000

• Equity: 0.2% – 0.5%
