Today we are more than 900 employees strong, and we continue to use our incredible talent and energy to bring that purpose to life.  We’re seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join us.As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer on the Business Intelligence Team at Zotec, you will lead frontend development of intelligent, data-driven solutions that turn complex healthcare billing data into clear, actionable interfaces. You will own the user facing layer of our Business Intelligence products while translating data and backend services into scalable, intuitive experiences. This role is perfect if you're passionate about building performant, elegant interfaces backed by real, complex data. Join us in advancing the future of medical billing through purposeful engineering and impactful design.The current tech stack is Angular and Python hosted on AWS, with data stored in SQL Server and Redshift. This role will involve maintaining and modernizing legacy applications in ASP.NET Web Forms.Proficiency in:

• Angular, React, or Vue
• TypeScript/JavaScript and modern HTML/CSS
• Building responsive, mobile-first web applications
• Component driven development and design systems
• Consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to display data securely and efficiently
• System design skills as applied to frontend architecture

Familiarity with:

• A backend language to collaborate effectively with backend engineers
• AWS infrastructure, particularly services relevant to frontend delivery (CloudFront, API Gateway)
• UX instincts and visual design principles, with the ability to make sound design decisions independently
• Frontend performance optimization techniques
• SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL to better understand the data models powering the UI

Who you are:

• You have 5+ years of experience designing, creating, and maintaining complex user interfaces
• You can communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and other engineers
• You enjoy balancing technical depth with practical problem-solving, knowing when to prioritize performance, scalability, or user experience
• You are committed to writing clean, maintainable code and mentoring others through code reviews, documentation, and collaboration
• You're passionate about turning complex data into interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use
• You understand the importance of quality standards, processes, compliance and security as it relates to the healthcare industry and have general knowledge of standards such as HIPAA or PCI

What you'll do:

• Design and build responsive, user facing applications that make complex healthcare billing data easy to understand and act on
• Work with product owners and business stakeholders to shape and deliver product solutions that meet business needs
• Partner with backend and data engineers to consume APIs and data layers, shaping how BI data is surfaced to users
• Collaborate with other engineers to learn and share knowledge of modern development techniques, spanning both frontend and backend disciplines
• Guide technical decisions and support the growth of fellow engineers

• Continue to expand our automated unit and regression test coverage using tools like Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
• Follow the appropriate development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
