About the Role

Clever Benefits is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong TypeScript experience to help build and scale our platform. This role is hands-on across our React web app, React Native mobile app, backend services, and AWS infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our small engineering team to design, implement, and maintain production-ready full stack features end to end.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong expertise with TypeScript
Production experience with React, React Native, and Node.js
Solid background in AWS services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, etc.)
Experience with Prisma, PostgreSQL, and tRPC
Comfortable working full stack and owning features from design → deployment
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, onsite 2 days/week in North Scottsdale
Must reside within 30 miles of North Scottsdale
Interest in using AI to accelerate development (code generation, automation, etc.) — but focused on maintainable, high-quality engineering, not “vibe coding”

Nice to Have

Experience with mobile app distribution workflows (TestFlight / Play Store)
Familiarity with monorepos, pnpm/bun workspaces, or similar setups
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (CDK, Terraform, etc.)
