Overview
Job Description
- Design and produce enrollment and recruitment-focused materials across digital and print platforms, including digital advertising, publications, web, email, and campaign collateral.
- Create and manage visual assets for digital advertising campaigns, including paid social, display, streaming video, and web-based placements.
- Develop and maintain university brand guidelines, templates, and documentation, ensuring consistent and effective brand application across campus.
- Serve as a brand resource to faculty, staff, and campus partners, providing guidance on visual identity, templates, and design best practices.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications leadership and campus partners to evolve the university’s visual identity in support of strategic and enrollment priorities.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing creative development from concept through production while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, production-ready files for print and digital use; maintain organized design files and shared asset libraries.
- Stay current on design, digital advertising, and higher education marketing trends; assist with photo selection/editing, special projects, and supervision of student workers as assigned.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional graphic design experience, including digital and print work. (Experience may include paid freelance work)
- Additional Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat); familiarity with photo and/or video editing software is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience designing for marketing campaigns and digital advertising, recruitment marketing experience a plus.
- Understanding of print production processes and digital design best practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and respond constructively to feedback.
- Experience with photo and/or video editing.
- Contribute to a collaborative, service-oriented Marketing & Communications team culture.
- Support university initiatives that advance access, equity, and belonging.
- Participate in required training, including safety and compliance training.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of university goals.
