This referral amount will be granted to you upon the completion of 120 days in their new position at our client. Job Summary:
- Yearly Base Salary Range: $85000 to $90000
- Is relocation available: Yes Nationwide.
- Is there additional variable compensation: 10%
- Provide technical support to Areas and assigned programs.
- Lead safety team in projects.
- Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals.
- Supports continuous improvement/automation activities.
- Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures.
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.
- Identifying potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions.
- Investigating accidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
- Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to employee health and safety.
- Maintaining and analyzing records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies.
- BS Safety Management or related field & 2 or more years of safety and health experience OR MS Safety Management or related field and minimal safety and health experience.
- Tire/rubber industry experience.
- Authorized OSHA General Industry Training.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Disaster and Fire Prevention experience.
