Senior Health Center Manager- Omaha, NE

Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $72,000-$95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. Schedule: Full-time

Shift times: Schedule built around health center hours. Health center hours currently 8:30am- 4:30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; 11am- 7pm Tuesday; 10am- 3pm Saturdays. Variable hours typically between 8am- 8pm, usually working 5 days per week. Expected to be on site for closing minimum once per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in business, human services, public health, nursing related area, or 4 years equivalent experience
  • Six years of progressively responsible leadership experience or a combination of relevant experience and education to equal six years
  • Three years' previous work experience managing other supervisors or team leaders
  • Work experience in health services

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Inspire Operational Excellence

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to health center teams with integrity and empathy, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and exceptional service modeling excellence in ethics and customer service.

  • Champion a high-performing, inclusive team culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Oversee health center operations, staffing, and data collection.

  • Ensure compliance with medical standards, SOPs, and state laws - including mandatory reporting and abortion services.

  • Serve as a mentor to other Health Services managers, offering guidance, expertise, and support.

  • Develop and manage the health center's financial plan, including budgeting, reporting, expense control, performance analysis, and process improvements, while overseeing inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, compliant operations.

  • Performance & Quality

  • Hire, train, supervise, and mentor staff. Facilitate professional development and regular team meetings to support growth and performance.

  • Meet productivity goals across revenue, expenses, patient volume, and customer satisfaction. Monitor financial performance in partnership with finance.

  • Oversee daily health center operations to meet goals in efficiency, productivity, revenue, patient satisfaction, and quality care.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA) and internal policies and procedures.

  • Monitor systems and workflow to remove barriers to staff performance and patient experience.

  • Innovation & Improvement

  • Lead new service development and operational improvement projects and promote development of care strategies like digital check in, new services, and telehealth to position PPNCS for future growth.

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve care delivery in a patient-centered environment that prioritizes dignity, responsiveness, and holistic care.

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., purchasing, compliance) to ensure seamless operations and communication.

  • Facilities & Community Engagement

  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality care.

  • Manage facility maintenance and ensure adequate inventory of medical equipment and supplies.

  • Serve as a public-facing advocate for PPNCS. Build partnerships with community health networks and lead outreach efforts in collaboration with governmental affairs, education, and external relations teams.

  • Collaboration & Mission Alignment

  • Partner with internal departments and relevant external agencies to align health center operations with organizational goals.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the mission and operations of PPNCS.

Immunization Requirements:

  • Hepatitis B vaccination records
  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccination records or proof of immunization
  • Tuberculosis PPD Skin Test that is no older than 12 months
