Senior Human Resources Client Manager

Position Summary
The SeniorHuman Resources Client Manager serves as a dedicated HR professional for assigned MedHQ clients, acting as their primary point of contact for day‑to‑day human resources guidance and strategic HR support. This role functions as an extension of the client’s leadership team, providing hands‑on HR consulting across the full employee lifecycle while partnering closely with internal MedHQ service teams.
The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively identify client needs, mitigate risk, and deliver practical HR solutions within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partnership & Advisory
- Serve as the dedicated HR professional for assigned client accounts, providing consistent, high‑touch HR support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership on HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Build strong relationships with administrators, physicians, and leadership teams.
Human Resources Service Delivery
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, investigations, and terminations.
- Advise on HR policies, procedures, and handbook development in alignment with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Support recruiting efforts, onboarding processes, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Manage and advise on leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, FMLA, and other statutory leave programs.
- Partner with benefits, payroll, and HRIS teams to ensure accurate administration and a seamless client experience.
Performance & Organizational Support
- Assist client leaders with goal setting, performance objectives, and workforce metrics.
- Assess organizational and staff competency and recommend improvement strategies.
- Support change management initiatives and help leaders navigate organizational transitions.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with MedHQ internal teams (Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Compliance) to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across client accounts and recommend proactive solutions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of MedHQ HR systems, tools, and processes.
Compliance, Ethics & Confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare‑specific employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee and client information.
- Demonstrate fiscal accountability and an understanding of resource and budget considerations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidates from Nashville, TN, and surrounding areas, as well as California and the West Coast, are preferred.
- Must have PrismHR experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Prior experience serving as an HR business partner, consultant, or dedicated HR resource for multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems; healthcare HR technology experience strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of employee relations, employment law, benefits administration, and leave management.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and change management skills.
- Strong financial and budgetary awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience (ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, or hospital systems).
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP).
- Experience working in a consultative or outsourced HR services model.
