Coordinates immigration services and organizational human resource compliance initiatives by managing cases, projects, reporting, training, and regulatory activities. Ensures compliance with immigration laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements while providing guidance, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates immigration services and case management, including visa applications, documentation, and communication with government agencies, legal counsel, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintains accurate immigration and compliance records while ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyzes compliance data, metrics, and reports to identify risks, recommend solutions, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Develops and deliver training, education, and communications related to immigration processes, compliance requirements, policies, and regulatory changes.
  • Supports audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing compliance concerns through corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Leads and supports immigration and compliance-related projects, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve objectives, meet deadlines, and promote organizational integrity.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Compliance, Risk Management, another applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:

  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional or Professional in Human Resources, preferred.
  • Society for Human Resource Management Immigration Specialty credential, highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Joint Commission (and other accrediting and surveying bodies) standards related to Human Resources, including licensure and certification standard requirements for clinical and non-clinical positions.
  • Thorough knowledge of immigration law, including employment-based and humanitarian visas as well as the lawful permanent residency application process.
  • Outstanding customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills required.
  • Strong data analysis skills necessary.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 

Experience:

  • Five years’ experience in healthcare compliance, human resources, risk management, or equivalent experience, required.
  • Previous immigration law, legal or paralegal experience, highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS, required.
