JOB PURPOSEThe Senior HR Generalist/Recruiter is responsible for performing daily functions of the Human Resources Department including administering human resources policies, procedures, and provides proactive support to the HR team, operational leaders, and employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Human Resources
Administers and supports Human Resource programs, including benefits, leave management, employee relations, performance and talent management, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and developmentAssists with onboarding and new hire processes to ensure a seamless employee experience Support leaders in the performance review process, providing guidance on best practices in alignment with HealthOne’s cultural frameworkFacilitate goal-setting and career development discussions Work with employees and managers to develop performance improvement plans when necessaryIdentifies training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for employees Supports continuous learning and skill development across teamsAssists in coaching and guiding leaders as they develop employees Serves as an escalation point for employee questions about a wide variety of topics including compliance, workplace policies, compensation and benefits, performance, development, and workplace interactionsPrepares and analyzes HR data for the purpose of sharing with leaders, identifying trends, and actively solutioning for improved business results Supports the administration and selection of employee benefitsAssists with audits and compliance reporting, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, and payroll audits Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation, ensuring completeness and complianceProvides guidance to applicants and employees on company policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service and support Updates and maintains the HRIS system to ensure data accuracy and efficiencyCompletes and verifies Forms I-9, maintaining compliance with employment eligibility requirements Prepares and maintains job descriptions and postingsAssist with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and interviews and processing change forms Administers and supports employee separations by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring proper documentationAssists with research projects and special initiatives as neededRecruiting
Partners with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruiting plansIn partnership with the HR Department, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for select open positions Develops and executes a comprehensive recruiting strategy that optimizes hiring workflows, enhances candidate experience, and aligns with business needsCreates and documents scalable recruiting procedures, including job requisitions, candidate sourcing, interview structures, assessments, and offer management Identifies and implements innovative sourcing techniques, including employer branding initiatives, talent pipelines, and outreach strategies to attract top talentDevelops key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools to measure recruiting effectiveness, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and other critical hiring metrics Collaborates with Marketing to enhance employer branding efforts, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for candidatesDevelops training materials and provides ongoing support to hiring managers to ensure effective utilization of the recruiting system Implements policies and procedures that ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO guidelines, and industry best practicesWorks closely with HR Director to align recruiting strategies with workforce planning and business goals Stays updated on industry trends and best practices to refine and enhance recruitment strategies and system functionalitiesRegular and predictable attendance Consistently demonstrates compliance with HIPAA regulations, professional conduct, and ethical practiceWorks to encourage and promote Company culture throughout the organization Other duties as may be assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 5-7 + years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on Workday expertiseHR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Moderate to significant amount of stress in meeting deadlines and dealing with day-to-day responsibilities. Must be able to drive a vehicle and daytime/overnight travel as required.
