Description
- Provide HR leadership to a rapidly expanding Jenbacher Operations, ensuring strategic alignment between workforce needs and business objectives.
- Provide business knowledge, leadership, and direction in support of Operations & Supply Chain.
- Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics.
- Coach leaders and supervisors in effective leadership practices, including communication and positive employee relations.
- Closely partner with our HR competence centers in the areas of recruiting, payroll, C&B and HR operations.
- Work collaboratively with HR team memebers to ensure consistent site practices.
- Focus on development, leadership, and implementation of local HR projects, as well as support in the introduction of company-wide HR programs and standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements and regulations including employment matters. Serve as general advisor on employment law and government regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; PHR, SPHR certifications preferred.
- Firm grasp of the fundamentals of HR management; minimum of 8+ years of experience; minimum of 5 years relevant manufacturing experience.
- Experience in an international company, service orientation and proactive working style.
- Demonstrated business acumen and ownership of HR as a business partner.
- Experience leading positive employee relations and communication programs.
- Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in areas such as dispute resolution, performance management, employment law, employee relations, recruiting/staffing, communications and change management, learning and development, compensation and benefits administration, and recordkeeping.
- Enthusiastic team player who likes to help shape things.
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills.
