Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior HVAC Design Technician to join our team in Tempe, AZ. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to lead the development of complex industrial HVAC and Process Exhaust systems for advanced facilities. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, layout, and routing of industrial building mechanical systems.
- Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details.
- Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design stages.
- Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines.
- Apply expert knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 8 years of AutoCAD design experience.
- 4 years of Revit design experience.
- 5 years of industrial building mechanical design experience.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes, specifically the International Mechanical Code (IMC).
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers, or other advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Technical or Associate's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Advanced problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills.
