Senior HVAC Service Technician – Residential & Commercial$32–$38/Hour | Freedom, CA | Monday–Friday | No On-CallExperienced HVAC Technician? Put Your Skills to Work.Bogner HVAC has been serving the local community for more than 40 years, earning its reputation through quality workmanship, honest service, and long-term customer relationships.We're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who is comfortable working across both residential and commercial systems and enjoys getting to the root of challenging equipment issues. If you're looking for steady work, competitive pay, and a predictable weekday schedule, this could be a great fit.The RoleYou'll handle service, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance across a variety of HVAC equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system and equipment problems
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on residential and commercial systems
Determine when equipment can be repaired versus when replacement is appropriate
Explain findings and recommended solutions clearly to customers
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment documentation
Perform basic air balancing and sheet metal-related work
Safely operate scissor lifts and Genie lifts when required
Maintain accurate communication with the Service Manager regarding equipment, inventory, and training needs
Follow established safety, quality, and customer service standards
Maintain and properly use your own basic HVAC hand tools
What We're Looking For2–3+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience
Residential, commercial, or combination HVAC service experienceEPA Universal CertificationStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to evaluate equipment condition and recommend appropriate solutions
Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and blueprints
Working knowledge of air balancing and basic sheet metal practices
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
Valid driver's license and insurable driving recordHVAC trade school or formal technical training preferred
Basic HVAC hand tools
