Job Description

Tropic-Kool Mechanical Services is looking for a highly qualified Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Tampa, FL Service Team! Primary Responsibilities: Must be proficient with complicated DOA systems. Chilled water experience preferred. Maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assisting with customers' queries. Qualifications and preferred experience: 7+ years of experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC equipment in a commercial/industrial setting (Chillers, VRV’s, Controls, Refrigeration, etc.). Familiarity with Building Management Systems. Universal Refrigerant Certification. Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Excellent customer service skills.
