DESCRIPTION:
The Office of Information Technology provides a broad range of enterprise technologies supporting the citizens of Maine. This position is ideal for a qualified professional with proven experience administering Microsoft 365 services and Windows Server operating systems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
In this role, you will manage and administer Microsoft 365, Directory Services, File Services Support, Patch Management as a key member of the team. The position is responsible for maintaining and tracking assets associated with all Windows servers across the enterprise, as well as managing our Workday Active Directory connections. It also oversees the configuration and implementation of CIS benchmarks (Center for Internet Security) for the Windows server environment, which is critical to strengthening our security posture. You will handle requests, communicate professionally, collaborate effectively, and have opportunities to work across additional technical areas.
The team provides enterprise hosting and technical services to agencies and operates within the Computing Infrastructure & Services Group. Technology support includes Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Teams, MECM, Directory Services, Enterprise Backup and Storage, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, SQL Server, IIS, SharePoint, and various COTS applications. Work is performed under supervision, based in Augusta, and requires participation in a 24x7 On-Call rotation.

A minimum of 5 years of a combination of related post-secondary education, technical certifications, or technology related work experience.
